HOLLAND PATENT, N.Y. – The Holland Patent Golden Knights rallied in the fourth quarter Friday and ended West Canada Valley’s eight-game winning streak with a 60-54 victory over the Indians.

The Golden Knights (8-3) trailed 44-41 before scoring 19 points in the fourth quarter. D.J, Harter led Holland Patent with 15 points while Josh Ernst scored 11.

West Canada Valley (10-3) got 17 points from Jacob Smith and 14 from Nate Rath.

DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. – Freshmen Greg Gonyea scored 33 points for Dolgeville Friday in the Blue Devils’ 63-55 win over the Owen D. Young Wildcats.

Gonyea notched his first double-double with 10 rebounds in addition to his career-high scoring effort and added seven steals and five assists for the Blue Devils (4-7) who were beaten early in the season in their first game against Owen D. Young (4-8). Zach Smith added 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, Austin Green had eight points and six rebounds, and Tanner Zacek grabbed eight rebounds.

Kyle Weaver led the Wildcats with 24 points. Stephen Dygert added 12 points while John Hajczewski scored nine, and Darren Brown had eight.

Travis LaFountain scored 13 points, and Tyler Leon had 12 for the Wolves (10-3) took a 16-9 lead in the first quarter and never trailed after that.

Jason Ellsworth led Northville (5-8) with 17 points while T.J. Wadsworth had 15.

The Vikings (4-5) led by nine points after three quarters and held on despite being outscored 18-10 in the fourth. Garrett Wood scored 15 points, and Dakota Adams had eight points and seven rebounds.

Kade Ozog scored 18 points, and Isaiah Zuchowski had 16 for Poland (3-9). Dylan Miller chipped in with 12.
