FRANKFORT, N.Y. – Piper Seamon poured in 23 points for Cooperstown Thursday in the Hawkeyes’ 59-46 win over the Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights.

Seamon hit five three-pointers and handed out six assists for the Hawkeyes (8-4) while Megan Schuermann added eight points and 11 rebounds, and Kate Trosset scored 14 points. Cooperstown led by 20 points before Frankfort-Schuyler (6-5) scored 18 in the fourth quarter.

Charlotte Rodio matched the career-high of 24 points she set earlier this year against Poland for the Maroon Knights. Skye Simmons added eight points and seven rebounds, and Sophia Simmons had nine rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals.

The Maroon Knights travel to Poland Monday.
