LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. – The Sauquoit Valley Indians took a 2-0 lead against Little Falls Friday and defeated the Mounties in four games.

The Indians won by scores of 26-24, 25-22, 23-25 and 25-16.

Grace Bergeron had 16 kills and three blocks for Little Falls (7-3); Kylie Miles had 16 assists and three digs; Camber Barnett had four kills, one ace and three digs; and Miranda Hubbell had three kills and five digs.

Julia Prichard had 15 digs, six kills and one ace for Sauquoit Valley (7-3); Maryann Lewandrowski had 29 assists, three aces, two blocks and six digs; Morgan Screeder had nine kills, three aces and three digs; and Kimmi Whittaker had nine kills, one block, three aces and four digs.

Little Falls was a 25-10, 23-25, 25-14 winner in junior varsity play. Caileigh Barnett had three kills and served 20-for-20 with four aces for the Mounties; Jordan Baumeister had five aces, four kills and 10 assists; Claire Petkovsek had seven kills, two blocks and one assist; Hailey Stoltz had two kills and two aces; Sierra Miles had two kills and five digs; Julia Bergeron had two kills and one ace; Karlee Gullis had two kills, three assists and three digs; Allyson Nichols had one ace and one kill; and Becca Hyney had one ace and three digs.

Emma Bilinski had seven kills, six aces and 10 digs for Dolgeville (8-2); Morgan Beaulieu had one kill, one assist and one dig; Paige Crum had one dig; Jazz Grassel had seven kills, two blocks and two digs; Sam Hoke had five aces and eight digs; Rylee Lamphere had 13 assists, three kills, two aces and seven digs; Meredith Minor-Foster had three kills and three digs; Breanna Potts had four kills, one ace and one dig; Kinsey Randall had six kills, nine assists and eight digs; and Olivia Davies served two aces with one dig.

Abbie Evans had four digs for Sherburne-Earlville; Alison Smith had two digs; Brooke Smith had six assists, three kills, one ace and six digs; Corey Jeffrey had two kills, one assist and three digs; Desiree Owen had 13 digs, two aces and one kill; Makayla Cornelius had two aces and four digs; Marilyn Loiselle had two kills and one dig; Paige Losee had three kills; and Zoe Kellogg had 11 digs, four kills and one ace.

The junior varsity Blue Devils also played three games and won by scores of 25-21, 22-25 and 25-13.
