DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. – Canajoharie/Fort Plain pulled out a one-point victory on the road Wednesday against the Dolgeville Blue Devils.

The team result came down to the final match and Canajoharie/Fort Plain led on for the 40-39 win when Dolgeville's Kyle Getman earned a 12-5 decision against Hayden Casler at 182 pounds. Dolgeville had trailed 40-24 with three matches remaining, and both Jacob Null and Ethan Randall pinned their opponents.

Dolgeville won five of the nine contested weights, but forfeited one more match than its opponent did. Heavyweights Chris Gushue and Mike Krasko had pins for the Blue Devils in the first two contested bouts.

Jared Bentz, Lucas Sunderland, Derek Countryman and Seth Richardson strung together wins at 126, 132, 138 and 145 pounds - three pins and one major decision - for Canajoharie/Fort Plain.
