LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. – The Little Falls Mounties capped a 14-2-0 regular season Thursday with a 6-0 shutout of the Herkimer Magicians.

Nicole Failing scored three goals and Gabby Sylstra added two with one assist for the Mounties. Makenna Peruzzi also scored a goal and Stella Rowley contributed an assist.

Kylie Miles made two saves and recorded Little Falls’ seventh shutout of the season.



POLAND, N.Y. – The Poland Tornadoes got two goals each from Riley Wisheart and Lexi Bates Thursday and moved within one win of a perfect regular season with a 6-0 shutout of the Oriskany Redskins.

The Tornadoes (15-0-0, 7-0-0 CSC-IV), the New York State Sportswriters’ top-ranked Class D team, finish the regular season Saturday with a trip to Remsen.

Leah Basel had three assists for Poland while Erin Powers and Carliza Roark each had a goal and Tayler Clark added an assist. Emily Schraeder recorded one save in the Tornadoes’ seventh straight shutout and 12th of the season.

Katie Bowers had eight saves for Oriskany.



DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. – The weather cut things short in Dolgeville Thursday but not before three Blue Devils scored goals in a 3-0 win over Sherburne-Earlville’s Marauders in a match that was stopped at halftime.

Emma Bilinski and Alexis Smith scored unassisted and Gabby Kenyon added a goal with an assist from Rylee Lamphere.

Ryanne Williams recorded one save on the only shot credited to the Marauders.

Sherburne-Earlville goalie Makayla Cornelius had eight saves.



FRANKFORT, N.Y. – Cassidy Maneen and Hailey Traut each had one goal and one assist for Frankfort-Schuyler Thursday in the Maroon Knights’ 5-1 win over the West Canada Valley Indians.

The Maroon Knights led 2-0 at halftime and also got goals from Hannah Banas, Courtney Maida and Bella Zito in the final match of a 9-6-1 regular season. Starting goalkeeper Charlotte Rodio made nine saves and did not allow a goal.

Lydia Reimer had a goal late in the match for West Canada Valley. Isabella Smith (three saves) and Maggie Burdick (four) combined to make seven saves.



WATERVILLE, N.Y. – Anna Beach and Julia Carter took turns assisting on each other’s goals Thursday in the Waterville Indians’ 2-1 win over the Mt. Markham Mustangs.

Hayleigh Gates scored for the Mustangs.

Sydney Hajdasz made three saves in the win for Waterville while Hannah Gigliotti had 15 for Mt. Markham.
