POLAND, N.Y. – The Poland Tornadoes completed a perfect regular season Wednesday with a 1-0 shutout of the Hamilton Emerald Knights.

The win over Hamilton also completed a third consecutive unbeaten run through Division IV of the Center State Conference for the Tornadoes (16-0-0, 8-0-0 CSC-IV). Poland last went unbeaten in the regular season in 2013 when they advanced to Section III’s Class D title match and were beaten by Immaculate Heart of Watertown.

The Tornadoes are 19-0-3 in league play over the last three seasons.

Dale Lepper scored Wednesday’s only goal and Connor Broadbent needed just one save to ensure the team’s 12th shutout of the season.

Ben Coddington made 12 saves for Hamilton (5-6-3, 1-4-1 CSC-IV).

DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. – The West Canada Valley Indians were 2-1 winners on the road Wednesday in Dolgeville.

Jaeden Beam assisted on both of the West Canada Valley goals, one scored by Tyler Weakley, the other Zack Zbytniewski.

Austin Green scored for Dolgeville with an assist Brenden Fahd.

Caden Ludwig made seven saves for West Canada Valley while Brian Lamphere had 27 for Dolgeville.

SPRINGFIELD CENTER, N.Y. – Jakob Peters had two goals Wednesday and four teammates got in on the scoring in the Owen D. Young Wildcats’ 6-0 win over the Herkimer Magicians.

Stephen Dygert, the Wildcats’ starting goalkeeper, played the field and contributed one goal and two assists while Zack Peplinski, Darren Brown and Christian Andreev each scored a goal, and Gavin Valenta and John Hajczewski each had two assists.

Zach Williams made 21 saves for Herkimer.

CANAJOHARIE, N.Y. – The Middleburgh Knights got two goals before halftime Wednesday and defeated Canajoharie’s Cougars 2-0.

Andrew Johns converted on a penalty kick to open the scoring and Ryan Thompson added a goal for the Knights.

FRANKFORT, N.Y. – Amar Halimanovic scored both goals Wednesday in the Utica Academy of Science Charter’s 2-0 win over the Mt. Markham Mustangs.

Jonathan Hoole made eight saves in the shutout, and Kellmy Paute and Tarik Omercevic each assisted on one of Halimanovic’s goals.
