The Utica Yard Dogs' season continues Saturday night.

The semi-pro football team, which is in its first season as a member of the the Empire Football League, is set to play the Plattsburgh North Stars at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sauquoit Valley High School stadium. It is the league opener for the Yard Dogs.

According the Yard Dogs, seating for the game is sold out. However, there are lawn seats and standing room tickets available at the stadium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Saturday's game is Pop Warner Night. Any Pop Warner player and cheerleader who wears a jersey or uniform gets in for $2.

Utica (2-1 overall), which has a few local players on the roster, is coming off an 87-0 victory over Seaway Valley. Utica's defense scored four touchdowns.

Get Colgate football tickets Monday

Individual game tickets for Colgate football games go on sale Monday at the school’s Athletics Ticket Office.

There is no increase in ticket prices from last season. Reserved seating prices are $16 for adults, $13 for senior citizens and $10 for children. General admission prices are $11 for adults, $9 for senior citizens and $6 for children.

Colgate’s home schedule features four games, which starts with a season-opening contest against Patriot League rival Holy Cross on Saturday, Sept. 1. Lafayette (Sept. 22), Cornell (Oct. 13) and Georgetown (Oct. 27) are also set to visit the Raiders at Andy Kerr Stadium in Hamilton.

Last season, Colgate was 7-4 overall and earned a share of the Patriot League title.
