ONEIDA — Vernon-Verona-Sherrill senior Olivia Evans was the medalist of the Tri Valley League girls golf championship tournament Wednesday at Kanon Valley Country Club.
Notre Dame won the TVL team title with a narrow one-stroke victory over Rome Free Academy.
Evans, a Division II Kutztown University commit, shot a four-over-par 40 to win the TVL individual title by eight strokes. New Hartford's Belle Previte was the runner-up with a 12-over-par 48.
Last year, Evans was the TVL tournament runner-up to Danielle Caringi.
