LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. – The Little Falls Mounties took the lead with a 23-point first quarter Tuesday and defeated the Adirondack Wildcats 62-44.

Cal Barnett scored six of his eight points in the first quarter, Pat Reardon had six of his 10, and Ryan Feane scored five as the Mounties jumped out to a 23-14 lead at home. The margin was six points at halftime before Little Falls outscored Adirondack 30-18 in the second half.

Leading 51-37 after three quarters, the Mounties limited Adirondack to seven points and a single field goal in the fourth.

Mason Trumbull led Little Falls with 14 points. Feane added 12, and Reardon gave the Mounties three scorer in double figures. Parker Tooley matched Barnett with eight points.

Andrew Fauvelle scored a game-high 16 points to lead Adirondack. Max Dorrity added 10 points.
