SCOTIA, N.Y. – Alexis Klock scored three goals for Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Wednesday in the Wolves’ 5-1 win over the Lions of Mekeel Christian Academy.

Jazmine Mumford and Kamden Battisti also scored for the Wolves, and goalkeeper Abby Johnson made three saves in the win.

Jo Galarneau scored a goal and Angel Barton made five saves for Mekeel Christian Academy.

Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville plays a Western Athletic Conference crossover Friday at Fort Plain.



FORT PLAIN, N.Y. – Emma Rhodes scored three times for Fonda-Fultonville Wednesday and the Braves defeated the Fort Plain Hilltoppers 4-3.

Alyssa Duval assisted on each of the goals in Rhodes’ hat trick and scored one of her own for the Braves. Stella Williams added an assist, and Ryleigh Hesch made 12 saves.

Kendra Przestrlski, Faith Rende and Emile Swank each scored a goal for Fort Plain which got 15 saves from Jayde Colton.

Fort Plain has a Western Athletic Conference crossover match at home Friday against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville.



CANAJOHARIE, N.Y. – Katie and Carrie Krohn each scored three goals Wednesday in the Schoharie Indians’ 9-1 win at Canajoharie.

Katie Krohn had two assists in addition to her hat trick and Carrie Krohn assisted on one goal for the Indians who remain unbeaten and ranked No. 1 in Class C by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Adrianna Cornell and Maddie Phelan each had one goal and one assist for Schoharie, and Meghan Krohn scored a goal. Abby Wetsel was credited with seven saves.

Kylee Rickard scored the Canajoharie goal. Madison Koelbl made five saves.

The Cougars will play a Western Athletic Conference crossover Friday at Mayfield.
