FRANKFORT, N.Y. – The Little Falls Mounties completed their first perfect season in league play with a 6-0 win Tuesday at Frankfort-Schuyler.
The Mounties (12-2-1, 8-0-0 CSC-II) had already clinched their second straight outright Center State Conference Division II title with a win Saturday. They tied the Maroon Knights in Frankfort last fall when they finished 7-0-1 in league play.
Nicole Failing and Gabby Sylstra each had two goals and one assist for Little Falls while Geena Morotti had one and two. Kailee Jasewicz added one goal for the Mounties who led 3-0 at halftime, and Olivia Langdon had one assist. Kylie Miles was credited with 10 saves in the team’s fourth consecutive shutout and eighth of the season.
Charlotte Rodio had 18 saves for Frankfort-Schuyler (9-5-0, 4-3-0 CSC-II).
The Maroon Knights finish league play with a match Thursday at Dolgeville. Their final regular season match is Saturday at home against Owen D. Young.
Little Falls closes the regular season with a match at home Saturday against Cooperstown.
EAST HERKIMER, N.Y. – Alexis Smith scored twice for Dolgeville Tuesday and the Blue Devils won 3-1 at the Herkimer Magicians.
Patricia Cool opened the scoring in the match, and Smith added one goal before halftime and another after to make it a 3-0 lead for the Blue Devils (8-5-2, 4-3-0 CSC-II).
Alana Ferri scored for Herkimer (1-13-0, 0-7-0 CSC-II) with 10 minutes left in the match.
Bobbie Lee Hall made three saves for Dolgeville, and Kurstin Gay had nine for Herkimer.
The Blue Devils take on Frankfort-Schuyler at home Thursday with the winner earning a second-place finish behind Little Falls in Division II of the Center State Conference. Dolgeville won the first match between the teams.
Herkimer plays at West Canada Valley Thursday.

SMITHFIELD, N.Y. – The Morrisville-Eaton Warriors beat Mt. Markham 1-0 Tuesday on a goal scored during the second half.
Lizzie Spring scored for the Warriors (7-4-3, 3-3-3 CSC-III) with an assist from Emma Baker. Lauren Rodriguez made seven saves in the shutout.
Hannah Gigliotti had eight saves for Mt. Markham’s Mustangs (2-12-1, 0-9-0 CSC-III).
The Mustangs finish the season Thursday with a match at home against Westmoreland.

MOHAWK, N.Y. – The Central Valley Academy Thunder finished the Tri-Valley League portion of their schedule with a 1-0 win Tuesday over Utica’s Notre Dame Jugglers.
The Thunder finished second behind Oneida in the TVL’s Pioneer Division with an 8-5-0 record in league play. Central Valley Academy is 9-5-1 overall and plays at home Thursday against Christian Brothers Academy of Syracuse.
Notre Dame is 3-11-0 overall and 1-10-0 in league play.
ORISKANY, N.Y. – Carliza Roark had three goals for Poland Tuesday and the Tornadoes defeated the Oriskany Redskins 8-0.
Leah Basel added two goals and two assists, Jordyn Squire had one goal and two assists, Victoria Rommel and Dejanee Irving each scored a goal, and Keara Blumenstock contributed an assist for the Tornadoes (13-2-0, 7-0-0 CSC-IV).
Poland takes on Remsen at home Thursday. Poland is the only team that has beaten Remsen in league play this season and can claim an outright Center State Conference Division IV title with another win or a tie; a Remsen win Thursday would forge a first-place tie between the squads.
