LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. – Carlin Straney had a hat trick for Little Falls Thursday and the Mounties defeated the Dolgeville Blue Devils 6-1 for their first win of the season.

The Mounties (1-2-1) led 3-0 at halftime in their home opener and 5-0 before Dolgeville (0-3-0) scored with nine minutes left to play.

Straney had an assist to go with his three goals, and Ryan Feane scored twice. Kyle Celio scored on a penalty kick to give Little Falls its 3-0 lead. Nicky Visconti contributed two assists and Kyle Stowell had one.

Andrew Celio made 14 saves for the Mounties.

Owen Davies scored unassisted for Dolgeville.
