UTICA, N.Y. – Poland siblings Cameron and Kiersten Tabor both scored goals for Mohawk Valley Community College Saturday when the Hawks’ men and women swept Jamestown Community College at D’Alessandro Stadium.

Kiersten Tabor, a freshman, netted her first college goal in the women’s 8-2 win. Frankfort-Schuyler’s Rose Simmons and Waterville’s Sydney Cook each had three goals and an assist, and Dolgeville’s Emilie Lewandowski added two assists.

Cameron Tabor, a sophomore, scored in the men’s 4-1 victory.

Both teams were beaten by Corning Community College Sunday. The men won 3-0 and the women lost 2-0 on Wednesday’s trip to Finger Lakes Community College.
