CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — A prosecutor is not filing any charges after investigating recruitment in a New Jersey high school football program.
Camden County investigators found no evidence of criminal conduct against any member of the Timber Creek Regional High School coaching staff. However, they did find discrepancies in residency transfer documents.
The investigation into the football program in Gloucester Township began when the prosecutor's office received a 13-page anonymous letter from a group calling itself Stop Taking Our Players, which alleged illegal recruitment.
The prosecutor is turning over evidence associated with residency rules for the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association to review.
