MIDDLEBURGH, N.Y. – The Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Wolves made a first-half goal stand up for a win on the road Wednesday when they defeated the Middleburgh Knights 1-0 in Western Athletic Conference play.

Jeff Baker scored from the back post 25 minutes into the contest off a cross from Trent Barker.

Senior goalkeeper A.J. Hayes and the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville defense held Middleburgh in check for the remainder of the match.

The Wolves are now 2-1-0.
