CANASTOTA, N.Y. — Deanna Carlone and Jade Shimer combined to score nine goals for Canastota Monday in the Raiders’ 10-3 win over the Herkimer Magicians.

Carlone had a hat trick before halftime and finished the game with five goals and two assists. Shimer added four goals and one assist, all after Jennifer Fiore opened the scoring with a goal less than two minutes into the contest. The Raiders led 6-2 at halftime.

Alana Ferri answered Fiore’s goal with one for Herkimer 58 seconds later. Brittany McManus had the other two goals for the Magicians, one on a penalty kick in the first half, and the other with an assist from Maddie Renshaw after halftime.

Kurstin Gay made 13 saves for Herkimer while Brooke Weber had six for Canastota.
