N. Korean leader getting best of Trump

Boy, is Trump getting played by “Lil Kim” these days.

Bejing has essentially lifted sanctions on trade with North Korea. Russia is doing the same in competing with China for trade with North Korea and as a counter to China. South Korea has also entered the game after the North allowed families to reunite across the border. North Korea has said it is changing its priority and going to push economic growth. Guess who will benefit with the financing and support for this effort, probably both China and Russia. Meanwhile, North Korea continues its nuclear program, building new facilities in its missile infrastructure with no signs of working towards nuclear disarmament.

What has Trump and the United States gotten in return? Two nice notes from “Lil Kim” and boxes of bones (with one set of dog tags) purportedly to be those of U.S. service personnel from the Korean War from 70 years ago! And you can bet that if North Korea starts its domestic improvement program that the U S will not get any business, it will all go to China and Russia, and maybe South Korea. It remains the goal of North Korea to reunite the two countries into one, and South Korea will probably welcome this with open arms. Meanwhile, Trump continues to tout the success of his one meeting with “Lil Kim”.

Obama track record should continue here

During President Obama's eight years as president, in addition to having an ill-advised agenda both nationally and internationally, no one did more to destroy the Democrat Party than he did!

At the start of his administration there were 60 Democrat US senators; at the end there were 46. In the House Of Representatives there were 257 Democrats; 188 at the end. There were similar results in the governorships and the state's Legislative bodies.

And now the Democrats are calling on him to remind everyone - of what, I'm not sure! But the Dems now have him out stumping for Democrat candidates in the 2018 mid-term elections. And I want to wish him continued success in his efforts! I would love to have him come to New York, especially the NY 22 District, and have him provide similar assistance for Candidate Anthony Brindisi and for Gov. Andrew Cuomo!
