What would you say are the biggest issues facing the area you seek to represent and how would you address those?

I will continue to advocate for quality education & healthcare in my district as I feel these are vital, along with programs that are guided to help the youth & aging community. Economic re-development is essential in my district and I will continue to support the efforts to bring more jobs, business growth & tourism to our area. With new hotels, the Utica Auditorium, Harbor Point, the Nexus Center, the Irish Cultural Center, and our new state-of-the art Regional Healthcare facility, as well as, expansion of the Utica Zoo, new Loft Apartments and restaurants and small businesses opening downtown; I feel that we are on an amazing path in my district, Utica, and Oneida County. The future is bright.

What makes you the best candidate for the job?

My many years of experience along with the positive relationships I have maintained, working in a bi-partisan manner to create real change and re-development in our community is something I am very proud of. Many of these projects are the result of years and years of conversation, planning and hard work. I look forward to continuing my journey as Oneida County Legislator into 2020 and beyond to help bring even more wonderful projects and services to my constituents. I am always present in my district and am willing to listen and take action for my community members. I thank everyone for your continued support.
