AVA — Multiple fire departments late Thursday night were at the scene of a structure fire in northern Oneida County.

West Leyden firefighters shortly before 10:30 were sent to a residence on Webster Hill Road, just north of Sage Road, after a 911 caller reported smoke and flames visible.

The family reportedly made it out of the residence safely. There were reports a dog still may be inside.

When firefighters arrived shortly after, they reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the structure.

Boonville and Western firefighters also responded, as well as National Grid. Ambulances also were placed on standby.
