The Smyrna Public Library staff is excited to announce the following new items in our collection.

In adult fiction we have “Dark Tide Rising” (A William Monk Novel) by Anne Perry. Commander Monk and the Thames River Police investigate a kidnapping that leads to betrayal and deadly obstructions.

Also in adult fiction we have John Sandford’s “Holy Ghost” (A Virgil Flowers Novel). When the mayor and his buddy come up with a scheme to put the town of tiny Wheatfield, Minnesota on the map, things go deathly wrong.

In adult non-fiction we have “Cozy Minimalist Home: More Style, Less Stuff” by Myquillyn Smith, known as “The Nester.” The book joins her other book on our shelves – “The Nesting Place: It Doesn’t Have to Be Perfect to Be Beautiful.”

We also have two new puppets – a red squirrel and wolf pup. They’re adorable!

The library is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday (new hours for the new year); and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
