Did you know that the Earlville Free Library has a knitting group? We meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday mornings every week. Even though it’s called a “knitting group,” we have people that crochet or quilt as well. We would love to have you join us. If you don’t know how to knit (or crochet) but would like to learn, just stop in. We have seasoned knitters that would be happy to get you started!

Beth Totten from the Canastota Library will join us Saturday, Jan. 12, to lead a robotics class! Children ages 10 to 15 are invited to attend this class where we will build and program robots. We do have a space limit so registration is required. Call us at 315-691-5931, or stop in.

Our annual and monthly library board meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, here at the library. Our meetings are open to the public so you are encouraged to join us. We are also looking for people to join the board. Contact the library for more information.

We have a few other upcoming things to note. We will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, for Martin Luther King, Jr. day.

We have a game night scheduled Jan. 26; more info on that will be coming. And we will have a staff development day Jan. 29 so the library will be closed until 5 p.m. No items will be due that day. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Earlville Free Library is located at 4 North Main St., Earlville. Hours are from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday to Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Visit the website, www.earlvillefreelibrary.org, or follow us on Facebook.

See you at the library!
