Well, Mid-York Weekly, do we have 2019 in our minds when we write the date? Are you still in “2018 mode?” Hopefully, we will all be on the same page….one day.
So far we’ve had a very mild winter…what I mean is there is no snow sticking to the ground, or accumulating. The temperature is on target for the most part. There were a couple days the wind was blowing, and took out the power in some homes. I hope everything has been restored. Now for some other news.
The Morrisville-Eaton Class of 2019 is sponsoring a Pizza Sale beginning Jan. 14.
The MECS Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 in the middle-high school library.
MECS’s “Spirit Week” begins Jan. 28.
It might be a little early to think Super Bowl. However, the Lions Club is sponsoring their annual TV drawing. Some lucky person will be the owner of a big screen smart TV. That TV is usually displayed at Cooley’s Home Center on Cambridge Avenue. The tickets are $5 each, or 3 for $10. You can purchase tickets from any Morrisville Lions member, at Cooleys, and other local businesses.
There is a blood drive coming up this month. I will have more details later.
Take care and have a good week.
