CAMDEN — A Camden man and woman are facing charges for allegedly stealing more than $7,500 worth of tools from logging sites, according to the New York State Police.

During an investigation, it was learned that about $7,500 in construction tools were stolen from several logging sites in Vienna, officials said, and were later found at Rubicon Recycling on Tannery Road in Rome.

Officials said Lori J. Daily, 46, and David H. Yager, 45, are accused of claiming to be the owners of the stolen property and receiving monetary compensation.

Officials arrested and charged Daily and Yager for third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

Daily was sent to Oneida County Jail on $2,500 bail, officials said, and Yager was sent to Oneida County Jail without bail due to previous felony convictions.

They are scheduled to return to the City of Rome Court at a later date, officials said.
