• St. James Episcopal Church, 9 Williams St., Clinton, celebrates the Feast of the Epiphany with Holy Eucharist at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, and 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6. The Epiphany observance continues with the annual celebration at 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, in the Parish Hall.

• A free exhibit of International Creches-Nativities will take place Sunday, Jan. 6, at St. Hedwig's Church, 5432 State Route 26, Houseville/Turin, between Snow Ridge and Whetstone Gulf State Park. The display may be viewed before or after the 11 a.m. Mass, or from 1 to 3 p.m., or by appointment by calling 315-348-6260. • Whitesboro Presbyterian Church, 1 Elm St., is celebrating Holy Communion at the 10 a.m. service Sunday, Jan. 6. Game day will follow the service. Come and join in board games and refreshments.

• New Hartford Presbyterian Church, 45 Genesee St., offers Sunday worship services at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 6. The Rev. Dr. Sue A. Riggle will be joined by Biblical storyteller the Rev. Dennis Dewey. Sunday School programs will begin at 9:30 a.m. The church's youth group will meet at 3 p.m. to plan 2019 activities. Deacons will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7. Church committees will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8. Members of the congregation will gather for prayer at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9.

• Stone Presbyterian Church on the Village Green in Clinton will celebrate Epiphany at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday, Jan. 6. Communion will be served.

• Westminster Moriah Olivet Presbyterian Church  at 714 Washington St., Utica, welcomes guest preacher Barbara Epley-Shuck who will lead the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6. The church is handicapped accessible through the door on the left on Washington Street.

• The First United Methodist Church of New Hartford at 105 Genesee St. offers Sunday worship at  9 and 11 a.m. Adult Sunday School meets at 10 a.m., Children’s Church is at 11:15 a.m., Youth Group meeting is at noon. • "Women at the Well" meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month at The Good News Center, 10475 Cosby Manor Road, Deerfield. All Christian women of any age are invited to come to enrich their awareness of God in their life and become more attentive to the ways He nourishes them each day. Facilitated by Sister Mary Ellen Schopfer, CSJ, spiritual director, this evening becomes a time for receiving insights, as well as gaining support. • Catholic Daughters Court Our Lady 1250 will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, in Holy Family Parish Center, 4343 Peterboro St., Vernon. All women from local parishes are invited to attend, participate in the activities and enjoy the fellowship. A short business meeting will begin promptly to include a baby shower for Care Net to support its work in the Oneida area. Members attending are asked to bring a baby gift or a monetary donation for the shower. Members unable to attend can send their gifts or donations to Grand Regent Cindy Thurston. "Sunday Afternoon at the Movies" will follow featuring Part ll of "God Is Not Dead" with discussion to follow. Popcorn, coffee and water will be provided and members are asked to bring candy or snacks to share.
