Absentee voting hours extended

Local boards of elections have announced extended hours to vote an absentee ballot.

Open House and College Fair

Madison-Oneida BOCES will hold an Open House and College Fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 18 at the BOCES campus, 4937 Spring Rd., Verona. The event will give prospective high school students and their parents the opportunity to learn about the facility and the programs available. Canine Flu Clinic

Annual 5K Fun/Run/Walk

Registration has begun for the first C. Hubb 5K Fun/Run/Walk charity fundraiser in Hubbardsville. The start time is 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at 1866 Quarterline Rd., Hubbardsville. Proceeds will benefit local breast cancer awareness organizations. Prizes given for costumes as well as racers. Snowmobile safety

Parry’s, Hamilton’s modern day general store, is now accepting vendor applications for their Indoor Winter Farmers’ Market for the 2018-19 season. The market is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the second Saturday of each month from November to April. This is a free market for seasonal vendors.
