ROME — Police executed a no-knock search warrant Thursday morning in Rome that led to drug charges for two Rome residents.
Around 8:58 a.m., the Rome Police Department Special Investigations Unit, assisted by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit and the Rome Police Special Response Team, entered 1115 Cedarbrook Dr. and seized a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, digital scales, and cash.
As a result, 42-year-old, Rickey J. Jackson, of that address was charged with felony fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Also, a 35-year-old woman of that address was charged with misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
