ROME — With the growing demand to help our local veterans and others in need during the holidays, Silly Sock Drawer presents “Rome Rocks - Music for the Mission,” a very special acoustic storytellers show to support the Rome Rescue Mission and Feed Our Vets.

The concert will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the Rome Capitol Theatre, 220 W. Dominick St.

Doors open at 7 p.m.

Join artists Andrew Ross and Rosa Laricchiuta from Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Terry Ilous, lead singer from XYZ and former singer of Great White, and Ted Poley the voice of Danger Danger as they perform and have fun interacting with the audience while telling stories.

Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on items including a signed guitar and signed drum heads.

Bring a nonperishable food item to benefit those in need.

Presale tickets are $15 and $20 on the day of the show.
