The No. 20 Colgate men's soccer team cranked a season-high 18 shots but could not find the back of the net in a 0-0 double overtime draw against American Saturday, Oct. 6, in a Patriot League showdown at Beyer-Small '76 Field in Hamilton.

The Raiders went into the locker room holding a 5-1 edge in shots, including a 2-0 advantage in shots on goal, but the score remained 0-0.

After a scoreless second half, the game went into overtime.

Colgate goalkeeper Jacob Harris made a nice play on an American corner kick in the 95th minute, coming out of the net to intercept a long cross out of mid-air. Two Raider shots were blocked as the two teams settled for a scoreless stalemate.

Earlier in the week, a goal by the Mountain Hawks in the 31st minute proved to be the difference as Lehigh edged Colgate 1-0 in a battle of two top Patriot League squads Wednesday in Pennsylvania.
