The Cazenovia Public Library will host a one-hour Social Security information program for pre-retirees (ages 55-plus) at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 22. The presentation is designed to help attendees learn how to maximize their Social Security benefits prior to receiving them. The material will be presented in an enjoyable format and will provide answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.

This program is offered as a community service by John N. Kalil Jr., LUTCF, financial coach and president of Retirement Solutions, LLC. Kalil personally volunteers over 500 hours of his time annually to bring public awareness to various financial literacy topics like Social Security. He frequently presents at public libraries, school districts, and businesses, and for organizations across Upstate New York.
