Second Chance Thrift Shoppe of CNY, Inc., located on Route 20 in Morrisville (remember Gener’s or Buzzy’s Diner? That’s the place) is re-opening March 16. As you know, there is an urgent need for blood. All types are needed. If you are able to donate, stop by the Morrisville Community Church Fellowship Hall from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 30. The church is located at 3824 Swamp Rd. in Morrisville.

Don’t forget the Easter Egg Hunt!! It’s at 10 a.m. sharp Saturday, March 31, at Morrisville-Eaton’s E.R. Andrews Elementary School Field, Eaton Street in Morrisville. This free event is open to children pre-K through sixth grade. There will be candy and prizes!! Join your family and your neighbors and friends for some fun! Bring your camera and have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny!! In the event of bad weather, eggs will be given out the school’s gymnasium. This event is sponsored by the village of Morrisville, the Lions Club, and the MECS PTO.
