UTICA – A Utica man is facing multiple drug and weapon charges after police executed a search warrant Thursday, according to the Utica Police Department.

Members of the Utica Police Department’s Special Investigations unit served the warrant at 38 Scott St. Apt 2E, finding a quantity of heroin, cocaine and marijuana, along with an illegal semi-automatic handgun, police said.

Rashleigh H. Austin, 32, was arrested and is facing the following charges:

• Two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

• Two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

• Three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

• Three counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia

• Fifth-degree of criminal possession of marijuana

• Two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon

• Criminal possession of a firearm

• Fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon
