Now don't forget to register for the fly fishing course. It is a wonderful hobby and it is open to gals, not just the men. You have two days of instruction with accomplished fishing folks. It will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. March 17 and 18 in Room 229 of the Sherburne-Earlville Middle School. Equipment will be provided. Fees are $45 for adults and $35 for youngsters under 18. What a deal. Gramps can take grandchildren or parents can take Gramps. Call Sam Scafidi at 607-334-3197 to register or for more details. Deadline for registration is March 14. Checks can also be mailed to Sam at 138 East Main St., Norwich, NY 13815.

For all you snow lovers, remember to clean out around the fire hydrants. It is for your own safety just in case the worst thing that could happen does happen. So be good to yourself and your fire department and take a few minutes to clean out your hydrant.
