The Colgate men’s basketball team broke a 54-54 tie with a game-closing 20-6 run to capture a huge 74-60 win over Boston University Wednesday night, Feb. 7, at Cotterell Court in Hamilton.

Five Raiders scored in double-figures, led by senior Jordan Robertson’s season-best 20 points. Seniors Sean O’Brien and Jordan Swopshire chipped in 11 points apiece while junior Dana Batt and sophomore Will Rayman tallied 10 each.

Robertson’s season-best 20 points came from a 6-for-13 showing from the field and perfect 3-for-3 clip from three-point range. He fell just one point high of matching his career high of 21 points. The senior also pulled down a team high-tying five rebounds.

Rayman and Swopshire both tallied their 18th double-digit performances of the season. Swopshire’s 11 points were accompanied by five rebounds and two steals. In addition to his 11 points, O’Brien also dished four assists and added four rebounds.

After facing Bucknell and Lehigh earlier in the week, Colgate will face Loyola at 2 p.m. Feb. 17 in Baltimore, Maryland.
