Gosh, the weather report sure sounds depressing. I’m glad I have enough to keep my hands busy and I hope not to fret and stew about how cold it is going to be. I think I am going to get the "long janes" back out and on!
I missed the knitting group two weeks in a row but I have a good correspondent to help me out. I was with family at Weedsport. My nephew and family came in from Ohio and I met Ava the newest addition to Carl, Kim's and Koltan’s family unit. It was worth the trip!
Arlene's rainbow afghan was coming along with the addition of a green stripe. Pam was making tiny sweaters - nice project for leftover yarn. Bonnie was doing a scarf in shades of blue and Kitty brought in a recipe for Arlene. I can’t wait to see the garland she was working on the previous week. And Mary was crocheting granny squares for an afghan.
Even though I wasn’t at the group, I was knitting another “turtle” for a member of the family. They are circular "tubes" that you wear to keep your neck warm. I made one for grandnephew Koltan but it was too dang small; got to do another one.
Remember, this group meets from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday mornings at the Smyrna Library. Come on in and visit and bring a project - or not. You can just come and visit; maybe share a joke or two. See you here with us.
