The Colgate men’s basketball team held an eight-point second half lead, but Binghamton quieted the Raider offense and closed the game on a 35-17 run en route to a 76-65 win Saturday, Dec. 2 in Vestal.
The Raiders shot 65.4 percent (17-for-26) from the field in the first half, but suffered to find their rhythm in the second term as Colgate was just 22.6 percent (7-for-31) from the floor.
Sophomore Will Rayman led Colgate with his second double-double of the season with team-best marks of 18 points and 11 rebounds. First-year Jordan Burns followed with 16 points, while senior Jordan Swopshire added 11.
Colgate will take the short road trip to face Syracuse at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.
