If you look around the village of Morrisville, Mid-York Weekly readers, you’ll see many holiday decorations. You see some soldiers “guarding” certain businesses. You’ll also notice the park on the corner of Route 20 and Cedar Street looks very festive. The village looks very nice.
As you know, we are in our last month of the year. If you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary this month, I wish you a great day!

Kudos to the cast and crew of “The Addams Family.” You did a wonderful job!
If you haven’t donated blood yet, there is still time. You could do it today! The Peterboro United Methodist Church, 5240 Pleasant Valley Rd., will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7.
There is a drawing for an 800 pound wooden carved bear for $20 a ticket. Half of the proceeds will go to benefit Corey Baker. The bear was carved by Earl Flanders and stands six feet tall by 30 inches wide. The drawing will be held Dec. 16. For more information, call Holly at 315-292-2572.
The Morrisville-Eaton high school band and chorus will perform Dec. 13 and the elementary band and chorus will perform Dec. 14. Both concerts are at 7 p.m. in the Middle/High School Auditorium.
The Fort is having a Customer Appreciation Party from 4 to 9 p.m. Dec. 16. There is a $5 donation at the door; proceeds to benefit the Morrisville area and Toys for Tots.
There will be some events coming up in 2018. There will be more blood drives, bottle and can drives, open auditions for “Sweeney Todd,” and more!
