A seven-point performance from sophomore Mara Cosentino led the Colgate women’s soccer team to a dominant 4-1 win over Lafayette Oct. 7 at Beyer-Small ’76 Field in Hamilton.
Cosentino netted her first-career hat trick and added an assist for a total of seven points. The Glastonbury, Connecticut, native had a hand in all four of Colgate’s goals. Sophomore Abby Sotomayor dished out two assists, while classmate Lindsey Wiley added the Raiders’ final goal of the evening.
Sophomore keeper Kelly Chiavaro wasn’t forced to make any saves in goal, but picked up her fifth win of the season.
The Raiders are now 29-1 all-time against the Leopards, with the sole loss coming in 2000.
