Welcome back to school! The Earlville Free Library will be less busy during the day with the kids in school. We will miss them during the day. For those looking for a calm place to sit and have a cup of coffee, we are the go-to place! The computers will be a little less busy as well (at least until 3:15). Stop in and say hi, sit and enjoy a cup of coffee on us; we would love to have you!

Game night will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17. Angelica is looking forward to hosting this event. There will be a selection of games here but you are welcome to bring your favorite game with you. No sign up required; just stop in and play!

We also have a digital literacy day planned from 4 to 7 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month. This will be a dedicated time to have your questions answered. Bring your computer, phone or tablet, or learn on our laptops. Whatever your need is, we will do our best to help you learn.

We would love to help you get started with our digital services. Overdrive offers audio or e-books to download; Hoopla has those as well as streaming music and movies. Mark your calendar and stop in. If that day doesn’t work for you, give us a call and we will schedule a time that does.

The After School Program begins on Sept. 12. This program is open to any child between the ages of 9 and 13. We offer homework help, snacks, games, crafts and much more. Please contact the library for more information. Registration forms are available.

See you at the library!
