This Tuesday, Sept. 13, the Local Music Project presents the award winning Syracuse bluegrass band Diamond Someday. The group brings their soaring vocal harmonies to a blend of traditional, original and gospel music. Consisting of Shirley Stevens, guitar; Tom Burr, bass; Ed VanCott, mandolin; Dick DeNeve, dobro; and featuring Liz Friedel on fiddle, the group has been performing over 15 years and were featured at this year’s Bluegrass Ramble Picnic.
The Local Music Project provides a venue where top local amateur musicians can play a full concert for an attentive audience. All shows begin at 7 p.m. in the Colgate Inn, Hamilton; $5 donation suggested. For more information call 315-824-1094.
