Comprehensive seminar being offered at SUNY Poly

The Small Business Development Center is presenting its Small Business Basics Series, a course for entrepreneurs and existing small business owners.

Six standalone modules, plus available one-on-one counseling, qualify for a Certificate of Achievement in Entrepreneurship. The course is at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, 100 Seymour Road, Kunsela Hall, room A-227.

The course includes six individual sessions over a two-week period, beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.13, and continuing Sept. 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22. Classes conclude at 7:30 p.m.

The individual modules cover the essentials of business that the entrepreneur must understand in order to start and operate a successful enterprise. The series concludes with a free private consulting session with an adviser on any business topic.

The fee for an individual module is $25. The fee for the entire series is $125, payable at the first session.
