HERKIMER — The public is invited to enjoy food and entertainment at a Food Truck Festival, scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 7, at Valley Health Services in Herkimer.

Along with members of the Utica Food Truck Association, including Holy Smoque’s BBQ, Come Fry With Me and The Grapevine, live music by the band Cleen Street will add to the festive feeling in welcoming September.

The main menu will consist of Holy Smoque's BBQ offering pulled pork sandwiches, pulled chicken sandwiches, pork or chicken mac attacks and sin sandwiches. Come Fry With Me will have a selection of loaded fries of various flavors, cheese and hamburgers, hot dogs, steak and pepper sandwiches and garbage plates. The Grapevine will have gyros with choice of vegetarian, beef, lamb or chicken and rice bowls with choice of vegetarian, beef, lamb or chicken.

The event will take place under a tent with tables and chairs provided in the main parking lot at VHS, 690 W. German St., Herkimer. The public is welcome with no admission cost.
