State Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man they say passed a counterfeit $20 bill to a vendor at the Great New York State Fair.

Police say the man shown here gave a clerk the counterfeit bill at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday. He was last seen running from the Pizza Villa toward the International Building, they said.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 20s, wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and a dark colored Adidas baseball cap. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at the far at 315-487-7711 (ext. 1390).
