Be a wheel watcher or a wheel turner when the 45th annual edition of Wheel Days rolls on to the Madison County Fairgrounds in Brookfield Sept. 23, 24 and 25.

The wheels will start spinning at 7 p.m. Friday with the truck pull at the same time BoCNY will be rocking the stage. Saturday will feature special displays of antique tractors, gas engines, and the Mid-State Antique Stock Car Club. At noon, kids age 3 to 9 can have a good time in the Power Wheels Demolition Derby. King’s Smash’em Crash’em Demolition Derby and Rollover Contest begins at 4 p.m. and is always a sell-out, while the Tompkins Drive Band will bring a popular mix of country music to the stage at 8 p.m.

The wheel excitement continues at 9 a.m. Sunday with the tractor pull, while the "Just Cruise-In" car show welcomes the polished wheels on all classic, custom, antique, and muscle vehicles to the fairgrounds. Country music with Matt Chase and the Thunder Canyon Band will start at 2 p.m. on the stage.

The weekend also includes flea markets, craft vendors, Brookfield Central School Senior Auction, a chicken barbecue and an assortment of fair cuisine.
