Ray Brothers Barbeque in Bouckville is sponsoring “Eat Out for the Arts,” a fundraiser for the Earlville Opera House (EOH), on Friday, Sept. 16.

Brothers Tucker and Colin Ray will donate a portion of the evening’s profits to the EOH, allowing patrons to enjoy dinner while supporting the arts in their community. In addition, after 8 p.m. patrons will be treated to the music of The Ramblin’ Brooks.

Formed less than a year ago, The Ramblin’ Brooks are led by Adam Brooks Dudding, a performing songwriter with five independent albums and two decades of shows and national tours to his credit. He is joined by Brendan O’Connor and Alex Lavon of Rabbit In The Rye and Colin Nevison and Zach Collins of Son Bully.

According to their website, Ray Brothers Barbeque opened in 2014 when brothers Tucker and Colin Ray “found a new flame for their passion in the form of slow-cooked meats. We are an authentic, slow-cooked barbeque style restaurant. Everything on the menu is smoked over local woods for periods of 5 to 14 hours.”

Ray Brothers Barbeque is located at 6474 Route 20, Bouckville, and may be reached by calling 315-893-7200.

Community events like this allow the EOH to continue to bring live musical performances and art installations to central New York, and facilitate the art education workshops and classes hosted for adults and children of all ages.
