An inmate at the Oneida County jail faces prison contraband charges, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Anthony M. Andrews, 31, is an inmate of the Oneida County Correctional Facility, deputies said.
He was arrested on charges stemming from allegedly possessing a hypodermic needle while being incarcerated, deputies report.
On August 27, while completing a search of his person and cell, officers discovered a hypodermic needle hidden on his person, deputies said.
Andrews was charged with felony first-degree promoting prison contraband, deputies report.
He is scheduled to appear in the Whitestown Town Court at a later date, deputies said.
