Emily Brash scored the game-winning goal on the Colgate field hockey team’s first shot of the overtime period with 11:36 remaining Friday, Aug. 26, at Tyler’s Field to give the Colgate Raiders a 1-0 home victory over the visiting Bryant Bulldogs.
Brash’s game-winning tally was good for the seventh goal of her career and her second career game-winning goal.
Goalkeeper Maria Krull made seven saves in her first career shutout.
Krull made a season-high 10 saves as the Raiders fell to the Hofstra Pride, 7-0, at Tyler's Field on Sunday.
With her 10 saves, Krull recorded 17 this weekend as the Raiders finished the weekend with a 1-1 record. Krull has now recorded 12 games with double-digit saves in her career for the Raiders.
Colgate wraps up its three-game homestand to start the season on Thursday, Sept. 1, as the Raiders host the Siena Saints (0-1) at Tyler's Field, beginning at 6 p.m.
