On Jan. 19, my son Sea will be presented with his Eagle Scout court of honor. It's a trail that began in September 2007 when Sean first joined Scouts in the first grade as a Tiger Cub Scout. He is shown proudly posing above as a Tiger with his first Pinewood Derby car.

Fast forward to April 2012. Sean, now in fifth grade, is shown here as a Weblos Scout ready to cross over with his den to become a Boy Scout. What an acheivement! Maybe someday he could even make it to Eagle Scout, we dared to hope.

Well, after a lot of work, seven ranks and 36 merit badges later, Sean reached the rank of Eagle on Sept. 6, 2018. He now was a high school senior and would turn 18 in another 13 days.

Congratulions, Sean! I speak for your father and nyself when I say we all made it to Eagle together!
